After waiting for my lye solution to cool, my oils to cool, measuring out my essential oil quantity from my very expensive bottle of Lavender, I was ready to soap. And then, I leave my stick blender sitting upright in the container of oils that promptly tips over and, while I manage to save the oils, I can not save the shot glass full of EO that spills all over my counter top.

Damnit!

And of course, Murphy’s Law… it was the last of my Lavender.

While I did knock the glass over, I grabbed it quick enough that there was about 1/3 to almost 1/2 left. I decided to mix it with some Jasmine, a very small amount as it’s so expensive and voila – we have Lavender / Jasmine EO Goat’s Milk Soap!

Since my essential oil cupboard was open and the last bar of Spearmint has just been grabbed up by a girlfriend of mine, it was time to get my favourite EO of all time out!
